Dear Friends and Families,
As we say goodbye to 2020, I am pleased that we are starting the New Year with vaccine clinics scheduled (or already wrapped up!) at all of our care centers. Our Eventide on Eighth (Moorhead), Eventide Jamestown, Eventide Heartland and Eventide Downtown (both Devils Lake) care centers are finishing their clinics. Eventide Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo is scheduled to administer the vaccine on January 5 and Eventide Fargo will do so on January 7. Our senior living apartment residents in Jamestown and Devils Lake have are also receiving the vaccine today. Vaccine administration for our apartment residents in Fargo and West Fargo are tentatively planned for January 11 and 12. We expect to receive the vaccine for The Linden and The Fairmont in Moorhead in the next two weeks.
I often close these updates with gratitude and when I look back at this year, I am still overwhelmingly thankful. The support we have received from our residents, families, staff and community is an important part of what got us through. When we became aware of COVID-19 early in the year, we all knew so little about what it was and what impact it would have, but we figured it out with each changing day. It has been a hard year for many, but with the arrival of the vaccine, there truly seems to be a light ahead. Happy New Year!
