Dear Families and Friends,
As we begin to transition to winter, we are also experiencing changes at Eventide. The outdoor temperatures are trending to be too cool for our residents to enjoy outdoor visits and unfortunately, indoor visitation is restricted at this time. Per federal regulations, indoor visits are not allowed in a skilled care center if there has been a case of COVID-19 in a resident or staff member in the past 14 days. Indoor visits are also restricted if the county positivity rate is greater than 10%. You can read more about this guidance from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) here.
We understand how hard it is on residents and families to not see each other and hope that we will soon be able to offer visitation again. In the meantime, we encourage you to schedule a virtual visit with your loved one and send them a greeting through our Send-a-Card service.
We continue to follow guidance from CMS, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota and North Dakota departments of health.
