COVID-19 Update 11-10-20

Dear Friends and Families,

Minnesota and North Dakota continue to face their highest numbers of COVID-19. Cases continue to climb and unfortunately, long term care facilities are no exception to the growing infection rate. The other facilities in the communities we serve are our friends and neighbors, and we are all facing great challenges at this time.

It is more important now than ever before that we work together. We must work together as a community to slow the infection rate by practicing social distancing, wearing masks and washing our hands often. We must work together as an organization to practice excellent infection control. We continue to work with our state health departments, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

We are cognizant of the potential negative effects of isolation in our residents during this time of restricted visitation and our team continues to find creative ways to engage residents and lift their spirits. It is difficult not seeing your loved one in person, and we look forward to the day that this terrible virus is behind us. For now, we encourage you to schedule a virtual visit with your loved one and send them a greeting through our Send-a-Card service.

Sincerely,

Jon Riewer, President and CEO
