As we continue towards the end of 2020, we anticipate receiving information on a vaccine soon. I hope this offers peace to our residents and family members not able to see one another at this time due to federal regulations. Currently, indoor visits are not allowed in a skilled care center if there has been a case of COVID-19 in a resident or staff member in the past 14 days. Indoor visits are also restricted if the county positivity rate is greater than 10%. You can read more about this guidance from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) here.
We understand how hard it is on residents and families to not see each other and hope that in the advent of the vaccine, this will change. In the meantime, we encourage you to schedule a virtual visit with your loved one and send them a greeting through our Send-a-Card service.
