Dear Families and Friends,
This year has been challenging in many ways, but it has also brought opportunities, such as implementing systems and tools that make our communities safer. Thanks to a grant from the State of North Dakota and the CARES Act, we were able to install HVAC air purification systems in our North Dakota facilities. These systems use proactive air purification technologies to deactivate airborne viruses and bacteria.
Eventide also received an Emergency Resilience Grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce to purchase Accushield screening units. We are in the process of installing these units at each of our locations. They will guide a visitor through several screening questions, take their temperature, and when approved to enter, will print a label for the visitor to wear. If they do not pass the screening, a designated employee will be alerted to follow up with the visitor.
I am grateful for the grants that made it possible for us to implement each of these technologies. They will not only help us through this pandemic, but will serve us well into the future.
