Testing of staff and residents took place at several of our locations this week and it is our hope that this becomes a weekly event, specifically at our locations where COVID-19 is present. Eventide Downtown in Devils Lake completed 109 tests on Tuesday. Eventide Fargo completed testing yesterday with 286 tests. Eventide Jamestown held a testing event yesterday conducting 307 tests. Eventide on Eighth care center, The Linden senior living apartments and Eventide The Fairmont in Moorhead will finish today with a total of 815 tested.
Eventide Sheyenne Crossings will test its entire campus tomorrow, which will total around 380 staff and residents tested.
To date, we have completed 4,947 tests at all of our locations. I am pleased to report that Eventide staff administered all of the tests. I have had the opportunity to attend some of our testing events and it makes me extremely proud to see our teams come together to efficiently complete testing in addition to all of their other work.
Beginning June 1, the Red River Task Force will be testing our health care workers weekly. We will continue conducting resident testing at our campuses.
Regular testing continues to be our most effective tool preventing and managing COVID-19 in our facilities. Positive results allow us to furlough infected staff and cohort positive residents to contain the virus and stop the spread. The few additional cases identified through recent testing have been in asymptomatic individuals, which proves how critical it is that we test regularly.
The following is an update of active and inactive cases* at our locations:
Eventide Fargo: 4 active residents, 9 active staff, 11 inactive residents and 13 inactive staff in care center; 3 active staff and 0 active residents in senior living apartments.
Eventide Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo: 1 active resident, 3 active staff, 2 inactive staff in care center; 0 active residents and 2 active staff in senior living apartments.
Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead: 26 active residents, 18 active staff, 14 inactive residents and 8 inactive staff in care center; 0 active residents or staff cases in senior living apartments.
Eventide Fairmont in Moorhead: No cases.
Eventide Jamestown: 1 active staff and 0 active residents in care center; 0 active residents or staff in senior living apartments.
Eventide Heartland in Devils Lake: No cases.
Eventide Downtown in Devils Lake: 0 active resident, 1 active employee, 2 inactive resident and 2 inactive staff.
Eventide Lake Country Manor in Devils Lake: No cases.
