As we continue to post these updates, we provide you the numbers we track within our organization. Please note that our numbers differ from those on the North Dakota Health site, health.nd.gov. We have been advocating for current long term care numbers to be reported on the site and changes have been made, but they may not match the numbers you will find in our reports. Until recently, residents and staff were lumped in one aggregate number, not accounting for recoveries, deaths, discharges or employees that left employment.
The cases reported on the North Dakota Health site are considered active if a resident or staff member have tested positive, but are no longer counted as an active case after 10 days. The North Dakota Department of Health is reporting recovered patients using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) time-based strategy, which classifies COVID-19 patients as recovered 10 days after their first positive COVID-19 test. Eventide is following the more thorough and stringent CDC test-based strategy, which classifies residents as recovered after two consecutive negative tests.
Regular testing continues at our campuses and many of our North Dakota locations have testing events scheduled throughout June. We are working to schedule another testing date for our Moorhead locations this week. We have learned through experience how crucial it is to conduct frequent testing as our North Dakota facilities have managed to get to low cases or zero cases of COVID-19 due to regular testing.

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments: 0 active residents, 3 active staff.
Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead: 21 active residents, 27 active staff.
The Linden at Eventide on Eighth Senior Living Apartments: 1 active resident, 0 staff cases.
Eventide Fairmont in Moorhead: 0 active residents, 2 active staff.
Eventide Jamestown Care Center: 0 active residents, 2 active staff.
The Heights at Eventide Jamestown Senior Living Apartments: No cases.
Eventide Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake: No cases.
Eventide Heartland Courts in Devils Lake: No Cases
Eventide Downtown Care Center in Devils Lake: No cases.
Eventide Lake Country Manor Basic Care in Devils Lake: No cases.
